Print | PDFAs a reminder to the campus community first year students will be arriving on Waterloo campus to move into residence on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, 2022.
The King Street North main campus entrance by the Science Building will have increased traffic on these dates and the use of this entrance will be restricted to those participating in Residence move-in activities or those that require accessible parking. The campus entrance from University Avenue West (Mid Campus Drive) will be re-opened temporarily and designated as a controlled EXIT ONLY to assist with increased traffic flow and congestion on September 3rd and 4th during Residence move-in.
Should you require parking on these dates we ask that you avoid the King Street North campus entrance and utilize the following alternate parking areas: Lot 2 (202 Regina Street), Lot 9 (University Stadium), Lot 14 (Seminary/DAWB), Lot 22 (232 King Street), Lot 37 (Northdale), Lot 40 (Career and Co-Op budling) or Lot 43 (230 Regina Street).
Please refer to the The Waterloo Campus Interactive Map should you require assistance in locating appropriate parking for these dates. Parking in any other parking lots will not be permitted on these dates.
To assist in facilitating Orientation Week activities there will be parking restrictions in the following permit areas:
Tuesday, September 6 - Rear portion of Lot 37 (Northdale) to support Room Burn demonstration
Saturday, September 10 - Lot 1 (off Bricker Avenue adjacent to Bricker Residence) to support Shinerama activities
Sunday, September 11 - Lot 37 (Northdale) Faculty of Science Students’ Association Orientation event
