Print | PDFPlease be advised that from Tuesday, May 14, 2024 to Friday, May 17, 2024, annual fire alarm inspections will be conducted at several buildings across the Waterloo campus. The schedule for these inspections is as follows:
This work will require the verification of devices (detectors, fire extinguishers, pull stations, emergency lighting, exit signage, etc.) in individual offices, classrooms, and any other location in which these may be installed. Testing of annunciating devices (bells, horns, sirens) will be performed before 8:00 am on each of those days.
Personnel from Richardson Fire Systems will be performing all verification activities with support from Laurier's Facilities and Asset Management department. No action is required unless otherwise indicated by on-site staff.
