Canadian public safety leaders, policy makers, and politicians are increasingly being called upon to deepen their understanding of complex, public safety issues through education so that they can lead Canada in having more enlightened policies, structures, and organizations.
Our five fully online graduate diplomas provide you with the critical thinking skills to analyze and scrutinize the complex questions and issues you will face or are already facing in your career, and will also teach you how to be effective leaders and managers within your organizations and communities.
The program will provide you with multidisciplinary competencies that will generate public safety practitioners who have the necessary skill sets to enhance evidence-based decision making and public safety interoperability.
Each graduate diploma corresponds directly to the areas of public safety in Canada.
The structure of each diploma is designed to afford you the flexibility you need in order to advance your education whether you are seeking further education directly after a bachelor degree program or are already a working professional. We offer four different graduate diplomas, each designed to seamlessly transition into the Master of Public Safety program, if desired. You can choose to complete a graduate diploma on its own (2.0 credits) or continue on to complete a full Master of Public Safety (2.0 credits).
